Dungeons & Dragons (NOT) Online
I’ve been trying to play Dungeons & Dragons Online all weekend. I haven’t been able to log in to the server once. Looking at various message boards around the web, this has been a significant problem and seems to be generating a good amount of ill will and an upset customer base.
Consider Dungeons & Dragons Online strongly NOT RECOMMENDED until this problem can be fixed.

I haven’t heard a lot of positive pre-release buzz on this game, and a launch this problematic (not to mention it’s utter absence from any store shelves in my area) is not a good sign.

Go play City of Heroes/Villains instead. Being able to fly never gets old.

How strange. I’m playing on a casual basis and having a blast, and have never had trouble logging in. Maybe I’ve just been lucky not to be trying to log in during the bad times. I’m not finding it as repetitive as CoH either, although I can see it being so if you make more than one character, because then you’d have to do the same quests. I love the lack of grinding, the traps and exploring, and the D&D feel. Now if only they could eliminate dumb names from MMOs.
