Also I've always thought venom was more likely in the same drug family as Miraclo than it was a steroid. (except metaphoricaly, it's pretty clearly a steroid metaphoricaly.) I seem to recall the Flash being dosed with it at one point, and possibly the dealer and "niece" next door as well. I just thought the unhealthy effects were more pronounced and rapidly appearing than for your standard drugs, and Savage targeted drug users to begin with to snare the easily addicted.
