Just Wondering

I was just wondering how Lex Luthor ended up on a tropical island when he was fleeing from an area just off the northeastern coast of the U.S.

  1. It was one of those “lost world” islands that have dinosaurs and such. Comics seemed to be filled with those.

  2. From the size of the island – tiny dinosaurs – really tiny dinosaurs

  3. The whole film made my head hurt when I started to think about it with any depth.

I kinda turned on the whole thing the other day when I realized Superman was a total dick to Marth Kent’s poor dog.

All the dog wanted to do was play ball and Superdick had to throw the ball into orbit!!!

  4. If Luthor shows up in the next movie commanding an army of tiny dinosaurs, I will be soooooo happy! If he also has a legion of tiny robot ninjas to ride the tiny dinosaurs, I will weep tears of pure joy at the beauty of it all. I don’t necessarily want Luthor to be the villain in the next movie, but I’d be ecstatic to see Luthor commanding an army of tiny dinosaur-riding ninja robots in a major motion picture…

I don’t think Hollywood is daring enough to go for it though. Sadly for us…

    Poetic Justice.

Which is more powerful than all your geography put together.

  6. well how come lois is all dandy after a huge metal door fell on her head??
and how does such a super kid have asthma?
i think clark was still on vacation too…didn’t seem to be doing anything
    at work.

  7. Of course, for all his (self-)vaunted genius, Luthor is an economic ignoramus. Once he grew his new continent, killing billions of people and thereby completely wrecking the global economy, who exactly did he think was going to pay him for his new beachfront property, and what were they going to pay him with?

  8. A wizard did it?

  9. I’m more concerned about why Lex was okay with having an island of alien mineral that he had absolutely no control over. Having tech thousands of years more advanced than anything on Earth is great… if you can actually make use of it.
