		<description>I&#039;ve been wondering the same thing.  I&#039;ve seen some reference to &lt;b&gt;Firestarter&lt;/b&gt; and also some to the movie &lt;b&gt;Scanners&lt;/b&gt; as the origin.  I&#039;m also wondering when it first showed up in comic books.</description>
