Wii’re Too Tired For A Long Post

Stood in line in the cold all night last night at the local Target to (succesfully) obtain the Nintendo Wii. Also picked up the new Zelda as well as “Trauma Center: Second Opinion.” Resultingly, I am very tired — and possibly chillblained — and plan on going to bed as soon as this week’s Midsommer Murders is over.

Regularly scheduled posting will resume tomorrow.

In other news, I’ve got several items up for sale on eBay now. Included are a handful of video games (PS2 and Xbox), some comics, and several runs of manga including complete runs (to date) of Full Metal Alchemist, Scrapped Princess, Tarot Cafe, and Case Closed.

  1. I’m envious. I desperately want a Wii, but all the stores around here are sold out. I’m consoling myself by re-playing “Ocarina of Time” until local supply catches up with demand.

  2. Being Chillblained is never a good thing. Especially if you’re reading DC Comics.

  3. But what wii would like to know is… did you like it? :)
    Australia wishes to know…

  4. Chris,
Yeah, but Chillblaine (any of them) never really presented much of threat. I love the scene where Jesse Quick turns his sportscar to parts in a split-second.

    Jorge,
So far, all I’ve played is the Sports game that comes with the Wii (and isn’t nice for a console to actually ship with a game again)– it’s a great deal of fun and it’s amazing how well the remote works. I’llplay around with Zelda and Trauma Center tomorrow.
I’m a little disappointed by the wireless. It’s only working at b speeds, not the g the rest of my network is. Luckily, that’s not a deal breaker as there is little need for the Wii to be networked now and I plan on switching to wired as soon as the adapter is released.

  5. Oooh, Trauma Center!!! Played the DS version, which is very nice. Atlus makes very good games.
In the DS version some of the patients are named after various TV show doctors, one of them is “Hugh Vogler”! I wonder if there are any in Second Opinion.
