Does that count as a psychic nosebleed? It looks more like Gabe is mentally making Tycho’s brain hemmorage – doesn’t a psychic nosebleed have to be due to the psychic using his/her powers and causing their own nose to bleed?

It counts. There are two types of psychic nosebleeds: the ones the users of psychic powers get (a la Cable or Jean Grey or Maxwell Lord), and the ones the recipients get (for a good example, see X-Men: God Loves, Man Kills). This counts as one of the second variety.

Thanks to politedissent.com, I knew that my baby’s morning nosebleed of two days ago was not the result of psychic encroachment but evidence that he’s now coordinated enough to stick his finger in his nose! Yaay! Fine motor control milestone!
