What I want to know is why was she wearing a bra in the hospital, anyway? Don't they usually have the patient stripped down and in their gown and a grin, and that's it?

Just watched this episode again. Would they have been able to use more radiation on her after they destroyed her immune system. If her immune system's wiped out anyway could radiation not help to control the infection given that bacteria divide at a faster rate than most of the body's cells.

Before figuring out she was septic by the pain resulting from the blood pressure monitor cuff and also by the murmur, wouldn't the doctors find her temperature elevated?? Or the fact that she was immunossupressed would hide that?

Cécile--- this (how can House kneel or sit normally, but not walk without limping) has been mentioned before on the site. Basically what people said was, the motion is painful, not the actual position. Same thing for the motorcycle.

Aussie-- Yes, liver toxicity from acetomenaphin is a concern. Did you see the episode "Insensitive"? In that episode, House mentions checking his eyes (to see if he has jaundice from liver failure). He has shown some other side effects from taking Vicodin.

Meds arent an exact science, yes they should have used antibiotics to the end, yes they should have used Xigris, Im very agree with that. but people, how many LP mostly in kids arent decesive for decision making?, come on, not all the time you got the right sensitivity to diagnose something, white count could be normal or below avg (indicator of sepsis), if you rely just on tests you can get mistaken. fever is not always there, i have seen kids with meningitis that havent got fever, what mostly curious in average people and in doctors, when something come wrong, they all come with the explanation, right after, i have met doctor with years of medical exp and studies they sometimes they just dont know what happens with the patients, talking frankly this episode was ok, seeing how risky Dr house and his team behave, its logical that outcome in some episode. you are right on most of thing i agree with your point of view. but all doctors make mistakes at least once cause nobody knows everything we are not god, there are many diseases all of them have a broad spectrum, most of you see JUST ONE PARTERM, there arent diseases, just ill people which is different.

Medical question.
There are legitimate cases when total body radiation
is used to destroy the immune system.
Let's say, in some of these cases - doctors are not 100% sure that the immune system is at fault.
Why not take bone marrow "donation" from the patient - to put it back in case the old immune system will become necessary?
