Seven seasons in, it's interesting to analyze the patterns of the writers.

Lawrence Kaplow and Thomas L. Moran previously wrote the following episodes together:

Season 1- Detox (Scott gave it a B for medicine)
Season 1- Kids (D in medicine)
Season 3- Human Error (F for medicine)

And now Season 7, another failing grade. Lesson: Tivo by the medicine when these two pop up together in the credits.

They basically admitted that they made up the ultimate solution, so medical accuracy become moot at that point anyway.

OOppps my mistake. That's season 4. Everyone is right, that was a bad finale. Maybe they wanted to be different and not really leave it on a cliffhanger.

I know this is really late, but I just recently found this site.

For all of you complaining about this season finale not being exciting or whatever.... IT WASN'T SUPPOSED TO BE THE SEASON FINALE! Writers strike anyone?

I think the "third ostium" was meant to be a third main coronary artery arising from the aorta. But still the whole medical story made absolutely no sense.
Thanks for your reviews buddy!

Just read this while searching for what the note in the flowers says in the opening few seconds of the episode (where Cuddy is on the phone) but this was way more interesting! Very neat review, I appreciate that there is also a medical credibility side that people are willing to critique. Please keep up the good work, Keep em' honest.

While old news, does anyone else think "Good Man" is such an amazing song?! Seemed perfect to end the season...

"I’m still puzzling over the husband’s inability to speak any English during the rescue, and his perfectly good English at the hospital. (Did I miss something?)"

(I realize I'm a bit behind here... I just caught this on a rerun.)

Puzzle over this as well: The husband being Cuban, you would think he would know that in Spanish the "H" is silent (Ernandez not Hernandez). As many have already pointed out, very sloppy writing; and I would add sloppy casting as well.

Despite the severe medical inaccuracies in this episode I really enjoyed the drama aspect. I am looking forward to the next season.

I'm sorry but this is, without doubt, the WORST season. Those who seem to think the medical aspect doesn't matter are sincerely missing the point. The show began (season 1) as an excellent medical drama based on the fact that it would (not wouldn't) be the most realistic to date. To suddenly cut costs, sack medical advisors and turn it into a Grey's is stereotypically inept of the female co producer who said, "their definitely needs to be more sex in the show". She effectively ruined House.
