@Ding,
as far as I understand, not all gamma-rays are relevant, and Sr90 doesn't have enough of them to matter and I am not sure about Po210 either. Besides, radiation poisoning can be triggered by a short-term exposure to radiation (e.g a faulty Cs137 generator) which would not show up later on, especially if you mind that gamma-rayers make poor weapons (too long range and to weak effects). It's a common fantasy that ALL radiation will turn stuff radioactive, BTW.

Me "I fail to see clearly why Brennan was fired."

House cares about getting the right answer, or solving the puzzle, as he would say.

The team as a whole cares about getting the right answer and saving the patient.

Brennan deliberately poisoned the patient for no justifiable medical reason (a clear violation of ethics and the law) which only misled the team from a correct diagnosis and put the patient's safety at risk. House on the other hand, takes risks when it will lead him to a better diagnosis.

Having Brennan around only hurts the team. Not to mention he's a complete psycho, as House said.

Why does that female doctor say she tested for "all known heavy metals" and the final diagnosis was SELENIUM? What was that about?

@Me: He was giving a him a medication intentionally to create symptoms, and falsified the results of a test. Not to save the patient, but for some pet political cause (that isn't even correct, as indicated above.)

I fail to see clearly why Brennan was fired.

yes he was unethical in poisoning a patient to prove a point but....

isn't that what House does in a regular basis? Treats patients without the certainty of what they really have, causes them fever and strokes just to prove a diagnosis till he is wrong?
