Maybe a dumb question, but if physostigmine was used why did House's heart stop while there were no symptoms of cholinergic symptoms? I would've loved to see him s*** himself :P

Did anyone else think it was relevant that Amber had a pole go through her leg in the accident, and she's the one who'll die? It looked like she would be pretty badly cripped by the injury, possibly needing to use a cane - therefore becoming more or less female House. Can't have two Houses; therefore she's got to die.

Did anyone else think it was relevant that Amber had a pole go through her leg in the accident, and she's the one who'll die? I'm assuming she'll be pretty badly crippled with an injury like that, possibly needing to use a cane - thus becoming female House. You can't have two Houses on the show; therefore she must die.

Other than medical goofs (Wilson punching House in the chest during CPR, House knowing exactly where the air bubble was), this episode is one of the best things I've ever seen on television.

Not being a source of medical wisdom myself, i did notice one small glitch this episode: the sensory deprivation tank contains water with a high level of salt, and using it is forbidden in case of cuts/wounds. House's head would have hurt like crazy in the tank. Not really sensory deprivation.

While physostigmine has been used in cases of Alzheimer’s and other dementias, it has shown at best only minimal improvement. Several decades ago it was tested as a memory aid, but with lackluster results. It is also not available commercially in the U.S. as an oral formulation, unless House has access to a researcher’s stash.

I wouldn't be surprised if house had stolen some physostigmine from a researcher in the hospital

House is obviously frakked up from the accident, so why hasn't he been sedated/strapped down like anyone else? Barring that why is an entire group of doctors who obviously have something better to do indulging House whilst he trips out and has a spirit quest on a bus?

There's something I don't get. We can see the bus driver walking while he helps the old lady in House's fantasy, and he had some problems with his legs. Was that caused by the air bubble or it was actually Parkinson's? Thanks!

Concerning Nasal pruritis,

I think the tumor reference was one of those moments where house makes something up to get the patient scared to get cuddy to do what he wants.

I don't think they were actually saying that nasal pruritis indicated tumor. just like how no one had meningitis.
