The Bannermen bugged me. How can they Hulk-out when their unbreakable skeletons wouldn't be able to match their growth?

Giving Uncle Sam (who derives his strength from the collective willpower of the entire US population) a GL ring was pretty clever. So he has the willpower of Alan, Hal, John, Guy, Kyle, and 300 million other people. That should work out well for him.

There's a lot you could especially do with either:
-super speed
-green lantern rings
-gamma radiation

I always thought one of the best combination of powers would be a Flash wearing a Green Lantern ring. If you get any competent person using a ring you get roughly the same result. But a Flash would have an advantage over anyone else by having instantaneous reaction time. So if bad guys appear on the scene, he could just think his beams into defeating them in a microsecond and be done with it.

Fine Print - "Disclaimer - No refunds if the only mutant power you develop is grotesque cancerous growths. Super strength, speed, or mental abilities are not guaranteed and may be pruely coincidental. Consult with your doctor if your are pregnant, may become pregnant or may be carrying alien larva before taking MGH."

Morrison did something with this in Marvel Boy., when the title character had to fight the UN Bannermen- vatgrown supersoldier clones, with adamantium bone reinforcement and 'gamma-enhancement' (they could turn into grey Hulks). The Bannermen were a cool concept, and I would've liked to have seen them re-used.
