It wasn't the Torre Attack. You couldn't tell how the chess game began. Nick could have just been studying chess, no opponent needed.

In honor of a decent episode, the Doosmday Clock has been renamed the Doomsday Clock.

(Take one DOOOOOOOM! token off the board)

"For something that was supposedly not detecting any radiation, the Geiger counter was certainly clicking a fair amount."

Plot Convenience Theater explanation: It was on the highest sensitivity setting (to try and detect the slightest radiation above background) and that was normal background radiation clicking away.

Minor plot consistency issue: At the end it seemed like the writers lost any distinction between Nick's emotions influencing and overwhelming people, and Nick directly controlling people with his mind- ex when he made the one person jump from the roof to their death, by his intentional choice. Also, if he wanted so badly for Olivia to shoot and kill him, why weren't the others on the roof begging Olivia to shoot them as well?

Along with "Nellie the Elephant" I read an article that said that "Stayin' Alive" also has the correct number of BPM for CPR.

The other song they mentioned having the correct timing was "Another One Bites The Dust", but they said that song might send the wrong message.

I was totally happy to see them get back to the ZTF/Cortexiphan stuff from the episodes just before they'd gone on break.

When the episode went to Olivia going to the strip club and hitting on the stripper, I thought, "...Well, this has certainly gone somewhere I didn't quite expect." It took me rather longer than it probably should've to figure out that it was another dream experience; I'd thought they'd maybe tracked him down to the club and she was either going there to arrest him or at least do a stakeout.

Also, while I figured it was actually about something else, I liked to think that Walter specifically went on about "Pippin!" because John Noble played Denethor.
