Of course, the same was said by a number of friends of mine when Prop 8 passed, that part of the problem with a strict Democracy is that you get what the masses want. And, as I often say to my friends, the problem with any elected official is that you tend to get exactly who you elected. ^_^ There’s a comic in Sandra and Woo that kind of encapsculates the problem with mass Democracy.
