Welcome MSNBC Readers

Welcome to Polite Dissent, my medical/television/comic book blog.

HouseFor medical reviews of the television show House, this is the best place to start. Reviews of the new season will start on September 21st, with the first review posted a few hours after the season opener airs.

  1. Long time reader first time poster. Grats on getting some mainstream attention from apparently MSNBC your sites been one of my favorite ones to look through whether a season of House is going on or not. Keep up the great work.

  2. I noticed this post was copied onto another blog.

  3. From article:

“One patient insisted she had a copper allergy, like the nun she’d seen in the first season of “House” who was allergic to a copper IUD from her sinful past. (Morrison says none of his patients have correctly diagnosed themselves.)”

    Oh dear, lol.
It must be strange seeing this little hobby of yours manifesting itself in the real world.

  4. Neat article. I wonder if this is going to drastically increase your House challenge? ;)

  5. I used to read your blog for the House reviews several years ago (I think it was between Seasons 2 and 3 which is when I first discovered House on DVD. I went online to see what medical professionals thought of the show and discovered this blog and really enjoyed it. Not long after, I had a computer crash and lost all my links and before I knew it I’d forgotten all about the blog.

Then a couple weeks ago I started rewatching House from Season 1 in preparation to the new season and I suddenly remembered your blog and how much I’d enjoyed it and the thought crossed my mind to try to find it. But before I got further than that, I read the MSNBC article and there was your blog link! WOO HOO!!!

This time I’m going to save your link on three different computers, especially since you also review Fringe, another favorite show of mine.

So the moral of this story is: thanks for being so awesome I remembered you years later right before MSNBC discovered you!

  6. Congrats on getting MSNBC recognition, Scott
