No mention of the fact that taking brain tissue out of one brain and inserting it into another will not transfer memories from one person to another? It would probably kill the recipient. Also, the brain does not store memories in one specific location that one can simply cut out.

If Walter's goal was to make himself not be able to remember how to cross to the other dimension, why would he lobotomize himself? You'd think simply killing himself would be easier and far more pleasant in the long run.

While I agree with you that most of it is BS, I gotta say the valium dose isn't that high. First off, accoustically (sp?) I understood Walter said "15". Secondly, after 30 hours of sleep and dumb talk, I was almost completely off my 300mg ingested with Pina Colada. Granted, I was utterly useless and only managed to assemble one Ikea bed, and had some short term memory loss, but hey. So 50 seems a fairly harmless dose to me, especially when as tolerant to that junk as Walter. That nurse may have learned at some point that he was Dr. Bishop, a respectable scientist, and trusted his judgement. Plus, if you've been hospitalized as often as I was, you'd be surprised at how unprofessional nurses (or any hospital staff for that matter) can be.

Interesting also that he was prescribed for an "indefinite" course of Sirolimus in 1995, even though the drug wasn't approved by the FDA until 1998.

The radiologists may not have noticed the holes in Walter's brain because he probably hasn't had a check up like that since he entered St. Claire's

The doctors in the asylum may not have noticed the organ rejection drugs. I have had family members in asylums and they have been treated like shit. So I'm sure the only time the doctors looked at their meds were when they were being admitted.

I've tried to keep up with this show, but I always find summaries like yours a lot more entertaining than the actual episodes.

Grrr! You people are making me think too much during TV. It wasn´t difficult at all to infer that Dr. Paris was William Bell. After noticing that Leonard Nimoy was making a special appeareance, and that this mysterious Dr.Paris had vanished I was like: "Oh no, they aren't using such a telling reference are they?"

Yup they did.
