That is one of my all-time favorite Batman stories. I’ve been waiting my whole life to use that line after I take 3 bullets. So far, I haven’t even been shot once though.
Leaving the cowl on to preserve Batman’s secret identity I can understand, but shouldn’t the doctor have at least cut the costume away from the wound before removing the bullets?

I hope you will mention this week’s Mythbusters. They had a real life ear, nose and throat doctor, who wore one and used it.
