We can assume that she saw the patients first, got a full history, including a drug history, took their pulse and blood pressure. Then after Blake saw them, if they needed an injection or post surgical care she took care of that.
Actually, I’d like to know what kind of surgeon Blake was, he seemed to handle conditions far beyond anything a general surgeon could. e.g. Sif had her Head bandaged one time implying she had brain surgery and Stephan Strange is the Neurosurgeon, not Don Blake.
