		<description>In the follow-on comic issue Superman returns to earth finding that its inhabitants think he was cured and returned. In truth the Justice League was impersonating him so that earth would not think itself defenseless. At least that is what my memory tells me. Long live the Silver Age Superman!</description>

To be complete, as Superman&#039;s space coffin was flying towards the sun, the Bizarros threw Kryptonite at the coffin, in general.  They threw all sorts of Kryptonite, including the kinds that mutated him, killed him, took away his powers, and the white stuff that did nothing to him but destroyed the plant-stuff that was Virus-X.</description>

		<description>As I recall, the Bizarros celebrated Superman&#039;s death by throwing white Kryptonite at his ship as it passed.  Since the Virus X was plant-based, and white K kills all plant life, the Virus was killed and Kal recovered nicely.</description>
