DVD Thoughts

Not only is Pete and Pete out on DVD soon, but so is Danger Mouse!

Now if they’d just bring out Spencer for Hire, China Beach, and WKRP in Cincinnati on DVD too. (I know that music rights will make WKRP on DVD nearly impossible, and it probably goes the same for China Beach, but for heaven’s sake, if Hunter is out, why not Spencer?)

  1. Oooh, I think you’re now my favorite blogger of all time. Steven has never even seen Danger Mouse and my descriptions of it can’t do it justice. Now they won’t have to anymore!

  2. My sister got me a Danger Mouse DVD for my last birthday. It must have been bootleg, I’ve seen people selling them at GenCon. Let’s just say, they lost a lot in the intervening years. I was rather disappointed.

  3. Hopefully, this means the eventual release of the superior Danger mouse spin-off, Count Duckula. I agree that Danger mouse has lost a lot of its sheen since I was a kid, but a recent viewing of Count Duckula was still freaking hilarious.

  4. If music rights are really insurmountable, then how in the heck is it the Miami Vice is managing to come out? Were the producers of that extremely prescient or something?
