Just count yourself lucky that her horrible personality was so obvious, if it had been hidden away it could have taken you many painful months or years to figure it out! Perhaps you untidy sneakers saved you a lot of grief! :)

1st rule of dating – better to go a little overboard on the 1st date than under

i’ll point out the mistakes –
#1. toyota
#2. shoes
#3. even if you didn’t have much $, it’s better to give the illusion of $
#4. movie w/friends?? nooo… 1st date should be 1 on 1, forget the movie – too much silence, it should be all about converstation, learning about each other, dinner/drinks and dessert, simple, quick, no longer than 3 hrs
#5. the date was over before it began, if she was really into you, she would have turned off the cell-phone or ignored the calls

Wait, that’s just a problem with nursing/medical students? And only females? Hm….As a male political science student, I’m pretty off the wall myself. There’s always the schadenfreude that comes with saying “I’m a doctor now” if you ever do run into her.

You will probably run into Lisa again some day – She’ll be fat and you will be totally together! You do work out at a hospital gym to stay in good health, don’t you?
